What are the classifications and applications of silicone plates?

The silica gel plate is made of high-quality thin-layer chromatography silica gel, thin-layer chromatography silica gel plate and high-efficiency thin-layer chromatography silica gel plate. It is prepared by mixing high-quality thin-layer chromatography silica gel with appropriate adhesive and coating on glass. Formed on the substrate, with specified pore volume, specific surface and pore distribution. At present, the silica gel plates on the market are mainly divided into two according to the molding process.

First, extrude silica gel plate.

The extruded silica gel plate is formed by an extrusion molding machine. The extruded silica gel sheet is the same as the ribbon, and can be circled several meters to freely cut the length.

Advantages: fast maneuverability, low cost, high output, fast production speed, free cutting length and uniform thickness.

Disadvantages: the die needs to be matched later to cut out a specific shape.

Second, molded silica gel board.

The molded silica gel plate is a fixed-size silica gel sheet formed by a silicone mold and high-temperature vulcanization. The silica gel plate has a limited area and a fixed length and width.

Advantages: stable production, good raw material quality, good color, hardness, good raw material grade and consistent size.

Disadvantages: the bottom of the output, the cost is 2-3 times that of the extruded silica gel plate, and the thickness is uneven.
